Poulina' s wholly owned subsidiary PAF signed a major partnership agreement with France's Groupe Altrad. The agreement is a result of two
years of joint collaboration in manufacturing.
Poulina is also expanding into the hotel business through joint venture partnerships. Holiday Inn and Tunisia's Poulina Group have signed an agreement on November 16th whereby the two companies will jointly build a hotel every two years over the next 20 years. The capacity per hotel will average 1,000 beds. Holiday Inn is part of Bass Hotels and Resorts, a groups which manages some 2.700 hotels and inns under the names of Intercontinental, Holiday Inn, Holiday Express, etc.
Their first hotel is currently under construction in the Medina of Yasmine Hammamet. The 1.100 bed hotel will be managed under the name Intercontinental in a timeshare format. Two other hotels are also being built in Yasmine Hammamet will carry the name Holiday Inn. Through its joint venture with Holiday Inn, Poulina aims to grow its tourism business not only in Tunisia but also in
neighboring Algeria and Libya.
