Motorola's new Moto Razr V3 - Thin is in!

By: Kellie K. Speed

Motorola has just come out with their latest and greatest (not to mention sleekest) cell phone, the Moto Razr V3.  At only 13.9mm thin, 53mm wide (the width of a credit card) and 98 mm long, it is one of the slimmest phones on the market.

The real difference is in the details. See who's calling, in color, without even opening your phone - the large internal display is complemented by an impressive external display while the precision-cut metal keypad reacts to the lightest of touches.

The Moto Razr V3 is expertly crafted to deliver exceptional performance. Inside the ultra-thin design are advanced features like MPEG4 video playback, Bluetooth wireless technology, a digital camera and more. And with the precision-cut keypad, minimalist styling and metal finish, the V3 looks just as beautiful as it performs.

You can watch MPEG 4 video clips in bright color with a 22kHz polyphonic speaker sound and even bring the  176x220 pixel 2.2” color display with 3D graphics engine to life with your favorite digital imagery.

The VGA camera is ideal for taking quick snapshots while on the go.  The effective 4x digital zoon and quick exposure controls deliver excellent clear results.  Once you take your photos, you can even send the images to your friends and family over the Internet using Cingular’s MEdia service.

Right now, the Motorola V3 is only available for use with Cingular Wireless.  Verizon will probably be coming on board shortly but if you have Verizon as a carrier, be sure to check into it before purchasing the unit.

The metal materials and finishes create a smooth, easy-to-use phone that has real visual impact.  The spun metal finish of the keypad is designed to gently reflect the light while a blue electro-luminescence panel defines each character and key, creating an unmistakable V3 signature.

One of the most ideal features for international travelers is the fact that this phone provides international connectivity.  The quad-band technology keeps you connected in more than 100 countries worldwide.

Of course, you can download your favorite ring tones and add them to your beautiful slim phone.

The Motorola V3 is available at Cingular Wireless for $499.99 with a new two-year service agreement.  For more information and product availability in your region, check out www.motorola.com or www.cingular.com.  You’ll be glad you did.
