Zeal Optics - click to enlarge Zeal Optics has just introduced its latest line of eyewear, the Wink Wired super charged steel frame sunglasses. Their lightweight nickel frames are ideal for use during most every condition - from traveling to low-impact sports.

When the pair arrived, I was somewhat skeptical how they would measure up to their larger competitors but was happily surprised with the results.

Like most other $300 and up sunglasses, Zeal Optics sunglasses provide 100% UVA and UVB protection and are available in prescription compatible frames.

Despite their high strength, these glasses are quite comfortable. The Wink Wired line features an adjustable silicon nose pad system, flexible hinge system and silicon temple retaining pieces to provide a secure fit.

Unlike most glasses that require you to purchase a hard case, Zeal provides a microZ hard case at no additional cost. In addition, Zeal provides a Z-clean lens care clean bag to maintain scratch-free lenses.

Wink Wired glasses are available in five different frame color/lens options: copper brown matte/silver matte/black matte, copper brown matte and polarized brown lens, black matte and polarized gray lens.

Zeal Optics has placed these quality glasses at affordable prices. The polarized polycarbonate lenses retail for $109 while the Z-Era prismatic tech cridalon polycarbonate lenses are a mere $79.

Zeal Optics also features 23 additional designs, including acetate frames, snow goggles, metal frames and their popular "swap out" frame systems that come with up to three sets of lens.
