More and more and in every way, AirTran
Airways is proving the way to go, especially for air warriors like us
who log so many miles in the sky.
This time around it was a combination
trip: interviewing at the Red Sox spring training site in Ft. Meyers,
Florida and stops at hotels in three different locales on the west coast
of the "Sunshine State."
Our outgoing flight was from Boston via
Atlanta and to Tampa. Coming back it was Tampa via Baltimore to Boston.
We had flown America’s top low cost airlines before in highly
affordable Business Class and luxuriated in the lengthy legroom,
comfortable two-by-two seats, privacy, even free adult drinks. This
time, once again, the experience was seamless, serene, satisfying
Business Class. .
But even more important was the efficient
service and the affability of the personnel of AirTran Airways whether
on the airplane or at the counters in the various airports. They were
consistently smiling, consistently concerned about what we and other
passengers were doing.
In these down economic times, how
satisfying to have an airline like AirTran around providing excellent
service and making one feel that he or she is truly getting a good
AirTran’s mission statement to “Be the
best in everything we do every day" is met big-time.
We look forward to flying this special
