Clean Candles

By: Kellie K. Speed

If you have heard the recent buzz surrounding the latest addition to the perfume market – the introduction of the Clean line – then you will be happy to hear the line has recently introduced fresh from the shower, soap-inspired candles.

Choose among the Original, Provence or Ultimate scents.  The original combines scents of litsea cubeba, orange, sweet lime, pink grapefruit, passion lily, rose geranium and white musk.  If you’re looking for a more smooth scent, try the Provence, which offers a delicate, just-lathered fragrance infused with extracts of Provencal lemon, cotton blossom, rose geranium, sweet lime and soft violet musk.  The ultimate candle was my favorite, having juicy notes of Italian Bergamot and Provencal Lemon with Lavender, Jasmine, White Rose and Muguet, intertwined with sensual Neroli and Musk.  Each candle retails for $29.

If you haven’t tried the perfume line yet, after purchasing a few candles, you will be sure to try some of them.  When you decide which scent you like best, you may find your favorite perfume – they also come in Original, Provence or Ultimate.  For the man in your life, keep him smelling just as good as you do with the Clean Men line.  There’s even a Baby Girl perfume.  The soft body lotion is a bit pricey at $59 but leaves you smelling fresh and “clean” all day, leaving your entire body soft and silky.
