In June, 2009, Virgin-Atlantic and Sir Richard Branson
celebrated its 25th anniversary and continued to stake its claim as one
of the most awarded, most popular and most favorites of airlines.
Six years before Virgin launched “Upper Class” along
with the longest and most comfortable flat beds in all Business Class
anywhere. In 2006, the Heathrow Virgin Clubhouse was inaugurated with
its cocktail bar, its hair salon and its glitz, glamour and roominess.
We experienced all of the above going to Mumbai and
returning via Delhi. And once again while the travel was grueling,
Virgin’s amenities and splendid staff smoothed out the edges.
